For Sale

91 Acura Integra Special Edition

I purchased this car a month ago. It was filthy, not running and needed a lot of work. I have completed this project and it is up for sale. I bought the car from the second owner who bought it locally and owned it for over 6 years. After the car started to run funny he parked it and sold it a few months later. Here is a little about the car.

Year: 1991 VIN: Available
Make: Acura Mileage: 174,XXX
Model: Integra Interior Color: Black
Body Style: 3 Dr Hatchback Exterior Color: White
Engine: 1.8L I4 Interior Type Leather
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual

This is what I did. I replaced the engine with a replacement LS motor from a parts car. The transmission is an A1 transmission that is geared really short (I don't know how). The clutch has about 50% life left, its a stage 2 6 puck clutch. The timing belt and water pump are new. I cleaned the engine and Transmission up. The car had an extremely long cold air intake. I cut it to fit inside the engine bay. The filter was also serviced. New Oil change and coolant flush. All hoses were checked and replaced as needed.

The steering wheel was torn so I replaced it with a fresh STOCK replacement from the parts car I had (you get old one with the car). Looks sharp. I replaced the Speedo cable and Detailed the interior. I pulled the stereo and used the correct connectors to make sure it was wired the right way. I also checked the Amp connections (car is wired for an Amplifier). The stereo is a very nice Alpine CD MP3 player. The front doors have pioneer 3 way and the rear are Kenwood 3 way. Sounds very nice and crisp. Also has XM radio option.

There is a rear strut bar in the rear window. It can easily be removed. The black cargo cover is perfect and the interior looks really good for its age. The seats have the normal rips and show their age. Still looks very nice though.

The car had a sideways "cool guy" muffler on it that had to go. I had a parts car so I replaced it. There is an aftermarket catalytic converter with resonator with 2 1/2 piping (I think) to a stock muffler. The muffler tips are rusted and could use some cheap tips for decoration. I like it because its not noticeable. no one will give it a second look. The car sounds throaty when you step on it.

The rims are light weight universal 4 lug 14". There really light and the tires are decent. Rims have very little curb rash, not really noticeable.

The Stock shifter was replaced with a short shifter. Very short throw along with the stage 2 clutch make this very fun to drive.

The headlights were replaced with one piece halo headlights. They look pretty neat at night. The taillights are clear over red factory lights.

I was going to keep the car because it is in such good shape, so I have a few extra parts. With the sale of the Integra you also get

Original B18 (LS) block and head that are good. May need a rebuild but should start right up. It has the intake manifold and wiring harness as well. All the extra motor needs is a transmission and dizzy. The valve cover on this one is sandblasted and ready to powder coat.

COMPLETE set of stock struts and springs with all bolts ect. I pulled them from the donor car. I was going to cut the stock springs and use them to lower the car and keep one set to raise it back up as desired.

All in all this car is pretty fast! it is fun to drive and with the combination of Intake, exhaust, clutch and transmission it is very strong. The car pulls hard and the motor is very healthy.

There is always the bad:

The rear bumper, front bumper and wing are not perfect, the paint is chipped in places but no dents! Just some little dings here and there. See pictures.
